The formative years of Tony Rudner's career were spent in South Africa. At 8 years old, he played his first tune on guitar and has been playing ever since. For him the guitar is an extension of body and mind.

This exploration resulted in Tony producing and recording over 35 albums for the African and Canadian markets. Performing live with many accomplished musicians including Manfred Mann, Johnny Fourie, Thembi Mtshali, and Bruce Cassidy. In 1983 he formed Sweet Ride. This group won the 1984 National Jazz competition and released their self-titled album on the EMI label.

He has also composed and produced music for 14 feature films, 8 television series, and hundreds of ads for radio and television. Including the opening theme song and soundtrack for The London International Advertising Awards Show.

In 1991, Tony Rudner emigrated to Canada where his prolific career continues to evolve primarily as a music producer and songwriter. He now lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia but also spends time collaborating and producing in Los Angeles and Nashville. Tony has since been nominated and won numerous awards in Canada for Song Of The Year, Album Of The Year, and Producer Of The Year.

Tony’s passion and love of music allows him to connect with people in the deepest way. He’s always open to collaborating with others who believe that through music, we can help make the world a better place.
